You will be able to identify this lady better when we tell you, we are referring to Radio Mirchi Suchitra. She can no more be called that since she has quit working as an RJ.

She is now working for a private TV channel and is concentrating on cinema. She is dancing for a song with Simbu in ‘Kaalai.’ She is also receiving offers to act in other films, not as a heroine, but in character roles.

How did Suchitra get the role in Simbu’s film?

“I have many friends in the film field, but Simbu is my best friend. People scared me about being friendly with him, but he is really a gem of a person.”

Yet another innovation for the benefit of listeners is the tie-up with BBC for providing content on its Breakfast Show. From June 6, 2007, Radio One has made subtle changes to its programming mix to ensure that Radio One demonstrates its core promise consistently and continuously every 20 minutes.

Radio One also announced that Suchitra, one of Chennai’s best known radio voices, will host the Breakfast Show. Suchi will entertain and engage listeners on Radio One from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m., Monday through Saturday. “We want to be a dominant player in this market and also emerge as a station that attracts the best radio talent. Suchi will add to the enormous creative and people talent which have helped build Radio One as a leading brand in a short span of time,” he said.
